An actors role and function according to one very quick Google search can be defined as the following:
‘ (Actors) portray characters in stories such as plays, musicals, films, television shows and radio shows.They engage with the audience and convince them they truly are the character’
The challenge for ANY actor , particularly onstage before a living, breathing audience is to ‘engage’ and ‘convince’ - to cast a spell over those assembled.
A teachers role and function is very similar: to engage and convince a living, breathing audience - ‘students’ - via the process of learning to teach content and incorporate knowledge while fulfilling the requirements of a curriculum.

We believe ‘gifted teachers’ are different. We believe gifted teachers are like gifted actors.
Both take their expertise and meet the requirements expected of them for their audience but go further : they tap into/access their deep understanding and connection to self and passion and enthral an audience.

Gifted teachers and gifted actors can literally catalyse emotional and intellectual engagement - and beyond the classroom, stage and screen change lives, change futures, maybe even destinies.
Gifted teachers and actors can inspire and motivate people to aspire to be better , more confident, more fulfilled versions of themselves in an inextricably rewarding way
